Sansom and Blackwell

Seth Blackwell and Marianne Sansom

Charlie and Marcia Sansom of Baldwin City, Kansas, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Marianne Sansom, to Seth Blackwell, son of Sam and Freda Blackwell of Humboldt, Tennessee.
The bride-to-be graduated from Baldwin High School in 2009. In May of 2013, she graduated magna cum laude from Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee, with a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing.
The groom-to-be graduated from Peabody High School in 2009. He also graduated magna cum laude from Freed Hardeman University in May 2013 with a bachelor’s of science degree in chemistry. He will be pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Nebraska in August.
Marianne and Seth will be married on July 13, 2013, at the Baldwin Church of Christ in Baldwin City, Kansas.


Wright and Jehle

Mark Jehle and Danielle Wright

Danielle Wright and Mark Jehle of rural Baldwin City announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
Danielle is the daughter of Joe Wright, Brookville, KS and Rhonda Wright, Panama City, Panama. She is the granddaughter of Ona and the late Joe Lee Wright, Ellsworth, KS, and Gene and Lois Phillips, Hutchinson, KS.
Mark is the son of Charles and Janet Jehle and the grandson of Harold and Wincel Jehle and Ivy and the late Bill Hey, Jr., all of Baldwin City.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Ellsworth High School. She went on to graduate from The University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Social Welfare degree in 2008 and Master of Social Welfare degree in 2009. She is a social worker at the Johnson County Department of Health and Environment in Olathe, KS.
The groom-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Baldwin High School and a 2008 graduate from Pittsburgh State University with a Two-Year Technical Certificate in Electrical Technology. He is a maintenance electrician at Lawrence Paper Company in Lawrence, KS and also farms with his family.
The couple will be married Sept. 14, 2013 at Worden United Methodist Church with a reception and dance to follow at the couple’s home.
